Safety in mobility situations is a critical issue of major importance. We based the development of our Astao solution on the requirements and constraints of a rail operator that wanted to equip its agents with a mobile alert solution. On board trains and in stations, this mobile application needs to be able to trigger an alert from anywhere and at anytime, with a high level of reliability.
Simple to deploy and centrally manage, it provides a range of communication and interaction services to respond to an emergency situation.
An agent in difficulty in the field can trigger an alert in one simple move. The monitoring teams immediately receive the information required for the intervention (geolocation, agent’s location, nearby teams, etc.). They can analyze the situation using the stealth-mode voice channel automatically established with the agent, and fine-tune the alert verification process using multimedia elements.
Thanks to numerous secure integration points, ASTAO Mobile interfaces with the various “business” systems to optimize the intervention process.
